Expression of EMA, EGP-2 and CK19 in peripheral bloods of breast cancer and its clinical significance

Abstract: To explore the expressions of EMA, EGP-2 and CK19 in peripheral cells of breast cancer and their diagnostic value as micro-metastasis targets for breast cancer. MethodsEMA, EGP-2 and CK19 were determined by flow cytometry in 65 cases of breast cancer and 37 cases of benign breast diseases， also the TNM stages, age, size of tumors, maxillary lymph nodes metastasis and expressions of estrogen receptor and progestin receptor were analyzed. ResultsThe expression rates of EMA, EGP-2 and CK19 in peripheral cells were higher than those in normal controls(P＜0.05) and closely related to the TNM stages，size of tumor and maxillary lymph node metastasis(P＜0.05). The sensitivity and accuracy of the EMA，EGP-2 and CK19 combination were higher than those of one or two (P＜0.05).
