Human stromal vascular fraction combined with adipose stem cells promotes the healing of radiation skin damage in nude mice

Abstract: Objective To evaluate the effects of stromal vascular fraction(SVF)combined with adipose stem cells(ASCs)transplantation on the healing of radiation skin damage in nude mice. Methods SVF and ASCs were extracted from the fat tissues of healthy adult women. The wound models were randomly divided into 4 groups: SVF+ASCs group, SVF group, ASCs group and sham group. The healing of wounds was observed on day 7 and 14. On day 14, samples were collected. The inflammatory reaction was observed with HE dying. The distribution of CD31 positive cells was determined with immunohistochemical staining. The distribution of collagen was observed with Masson staining. Results On day 14, wounds of the SVF+ASCs group were completely healed; wounds of the control group still showed granulation tissues; wounds of ASCs and SVF groups were largely unhealed. The count of inflammatory cells was lower in SVF+ASCs group than in ASCs group, SVF group and control group. Count of CD31 cells was significantly higher in SVF+ASCs group than in the other 3 groups. Conclusion The SVF+ASCs transplantation can promote the healing of radiation skin damage innude mice and may be widely spread in clinical practice.
