Application of systematic nursing intervention on patients with acute pancreatitis

Abstract: Objective To observe the systematic nursing intervention on patients with acute pancreatitis. Methods A total of 148 patients with acute pancreatitis were divided into study group (n=86) and Control group (n=62). Control group received regular nursing care and the study group received extra systematic nursing intervention. Results The over response rate was 97.7%(84/86) in study group and 82.3%(51/62) in control group , with a significant difference (P<0.01). Compared to the control group, the study group has shorter length of stay (P<0.01). Conclusion systematic nursing intervention can promote healing of acute pancreatitis and shorten length of stay for patients.
