Objective To evaluate the transvaginal ultrasonography combined with human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) detection in diagnosis of ectopic pregnancy. Methods Transvaginal ultrasonography and HCG detection were performed in 138 ectopic pregnant women before and after surgical therapy. Results Out of 103 patients with surgical therapy, 100 cases were tested with chorion tissue and rest 3 cases with decidual tissue. The level of β-HCG were back to normal level 8 days after operation in most of patients. Conclusion Transvaginal ultrasonography combined with HCG detection is useful in promotiong quality of early diagnosis of ectopic pregnancy.

Objective To evaluate the ultrasonic differential diagnosis in fibroadenoma of breast and breast cancer. Methods The outcomes of color doppler sonography examination and pathology form 38 patients (38 breast lumps) were analyzed. Results Pathological results showed 16 cases of breast cance, 18 cases of breast fibroadenoma and 4 cases hyperplasia, in which 12, 16 and 4 cases were detected by ultrasonography, respectively. Fibroadenoma and breast cancer were solid masses under ultrasonic image. Conclusion Ultrasonic diagnosis and other detection method should be used jointly in digonosis of fibroadenoma of breast and breast cancer.

Objective To investigate the reason of increased level of creatine kinase-MB ( CK-MB) in patients with non-cardiac disease. Methods Clinical data of patients with normal level of CK and increased level of CK-MB were retrospectively analyzed. Results Out of 56 serum specimens with abnormal increase of CK-MB, 40 cases were from children, 8 cases from patients with cancer, 5 cases from patients with brain injury, 3 cases were hemolysis specimens. The average ratio of CK-MB/CK was 55.9% and 54.2% in specimen of cancer patients and hemolysis specimens, respectively. Conclusion Enzyme inhibition immunoassy may case false increase in levels of CK-MB among patients with non-cardiac disease.

Objective To understand the characteristics of common allergens in children with allergic diseases in Shijiazhuang region and provide the scientific basis for prevention and treatment of allergic diseases. Methods Skin prick test was used, and 10 allergens were tested, including dermatophagoides farinae, dermatophagoides pteronyssinus, artemisia pollen, humulus pollen, cat hqair, dog hair, cockroaches, yeast, milk and egg white. Normal saline and histamine were set as the negative and positive controls. Responses to the allergens were observed. Results A total of 602 cases (58.17%) showed positive reaction, among which positive rate of dermatophagoides farinae was the highest (28.83%), followed by dermatophagoides pteronyssinus (22.99%) in 1035 cases. Conclusion Respiratory allergic diseases are usually caused by allergens, among which dermatophagoides farina and dermatophagoides pteronyssinus are the most important ones.

Objective To discuss the prevention and nursing measures for renal osteopathy in patients with maintenance hemodialysis. Methods Intervention and nursing experience in preventing renal osteopathy were summarized by retrospectively analyzing the clinical data of 128 patients with maintenance hemodialysis . Results Out of 70 patients with renal osteopathy, 42 cases were effectively controlled, 16 cases were failed. Conclusion Management in serum levels of calcium and phosphate, reducing parathyroid hormone levels and poisoning-prevented interventions are helpful in controlling the development of renal osteopathy.

Objective To observe the Integrated Medical care for perioperative patients with extracrania-intracranial tumors of anterior skull bases. Methods Forty six patients were enrolled and set as observation group, with integrated medical care. Another 35 patients were set as control group, with conventional nursing care. Complications, average length of stay and nursing satisfaction were compared between two groups. Results Incidence of complication was 34.3% in control group and 10.9% in observation group. There were significant differences in legth of stay (27.1±8.9 vs 20.6±8.6, P<0.01) and nursing satisfaction score (91.3±2.9 vs 95.6±2.9, P<0.01) between control and observation group. Conclusion Integrated medical care has potential to reduce the risk of complications in patients with extracrania-intracranial tumors of anterior skull bases.

Objective To observe the systematic nursing intervention on patients with acute pancreatitis. Methods A total of 148 patients with acute pancreatitis were divided into study group (n=86) and Control group (n=62). Control group received regular nursing care and the study group received extra systematic nursing intervention. Results The over response rate was 97.7%(84/86) in study group and 82.3%(51/62) in control group , with a significant difference (P<0.01). Compared to the control group, the study group has shorter length of stay (P<0.01). Conclusion systematic nursing intervention can promote healing of acute pancreatitis and shorten length of stay for patients.

Objective To investigate the application of predictive nursing intervention on patients with cranial defects combined hydrocephalus in period of homochronous operation. Methods A total of 64 patents with cranial defects combined hydrocephalus were randomly divided into study group (n=32) and control group (n=32). All patients received therapy of decompressing craniectomy and ventriculo-peritoneal shunt. The control group was given regular nursing care while the study group was given predictive nursing intervention. The complication, costs, length of stay and nursing satisfaction rate were compared between two groups. Results compared to the control group, the study group achieved lower incidence of complication (P<0.05), lower costs (P<0.05), shorter length of stay (P<0.05) and higher satisfaction rate (P<0.05). Conclusion Predictive nursing intervention can reduce the risk of complication and improve the nursing quality in patients with cranial defects combined hydrocephalus.

Objective To investigate the pharmacokinetics of dimenhydrinate orally disintegrating tablets. Methods A total of 30 healthy participants were randomly divided into orally disintegrating tablets group (n=15) and normal tablets group (n=15). High performance liquid chromatography method was performed to detect the plasma concentration of dimenhydrinate. Results Time to peak(Tpeak), the Ka value, peak concentration(Cmax), lag time and area under cuive in disintegrating tablets group were different from those in normal tablet group (P<0.01). The relative bioavailability of disintegrating tablets against normal tablets was 180.12%. Conclusion The bioavailability of dimenhydrinate can be enhanced under a dosage form of orally disintegrating tablets.
