Correlation between subjective wellbeing and health status of rural residents

Abstract: To analyze the correlation between subjective wellbeing (SWB) and health status of rural residents. MethodSWB was measured using the Day Reconstruction Method (DRM) and health status was measured through the EQ5D scales. Results27% of investigated residents experienced an unhappy mood and felt unhappy in an average of 47% of their life. 31.9% and 17.9% residents felt pain or discomfort and anxiety or depression. Conclusion Subjective wellbeing is positively related to health status.
