Objective To explore a pathway for improving subjective well-being (SWB) from daily activities of rural residents. Methods  SWB was measured using the  Day Reconstruction Method, and a net affect was compared among all kinds of daily activities. ResultsSWB of relaxation and entertainment activities was the highest and of action against one′s will was the lowest. We also found that gender, age, and education were related to SWB. ConclusionIn   rural area, SWB could be increased by widening ways to relaxation and entertainment and prolonging their time, increasing different characteristics (such as gender, age and education) of residents′ interest in daily activities.
