Abstract:

Objective   To explore the expressions of HIF-1α, VEGF and MMP-9 in endometrioid adenocarcinoma and their clinicopathological relationship.  Methods   Expressions of HIF-1α, VEGF and MMP-9 in 60 cases of endometrioid adenocarcinoma and 30 cases of benign endometrial controls were detected by immunohistochemical PV-9000 two-step methods. The χ2 test was used to analyse the clinical pathological relationship and the Spearman correlation test was used to analyse the relevance of the three indicators. Results   The positive rates of HIF-1α, VEGF and MMP-9 in endometrioid adenocarcinoma were significantly higher than those in the benign endometrial controls (P<0.05); the expressions in the lymph node metastasis group were higher than those in the without lymph node metastasis group: there was a positive correlation in the expressions of the three indicators in endometrioid adenocarcinoma (P<0.05). Conclusion   The expressions of HIF-1α, VEGF and MMP-9 in endometrioid adenocarcinoma increased and were positively correlated, which was closely related with the tumor development and metastasis.
