Abstract:

Objective  To evaluate the variation of CD4+CD25+ regulatory T cells and T cell subsets affected by cytokine-induced killer cells in ovarian neoplasms patients. Methods  Thirty ovarian neoplasms patients were collected with pathologically diagnosed. The auto-CIK cells were transfused back into patients after peripheral blood was cultured and induced into CIK cells. The levels of CD4+CD25+ regulatory T cells, T cell subsets and NK cells were detected with flow cytometry two weeks later. Results  CD4+CD25+ regulatory T cells were decreased after autologous CIK cells transfusion, (P<0.01); the CD8+ cell subsets were decreased (P<0.05). Cell subsets CD3+ and CD4+, ratio of CD4+/CD8+ and NK cells were significantly increased at the same time. Conclusion  Autologous CIK cells can degrade the quantity of regulatory T cells, improve the unbalanced T cell subsets in patients with ovarian neoplasms and upgrade the quality of patients′ life to some extent.
