Abstract:

Objective  To study the effect of pregnancy relative factors on primigravida stress urinary incontinence(SUI), and the mobility of the urethrovesical junction (UVJ-M) at different periods of pregnancy. Methods  A questionnaire survey was conducted in 182 primigravida, including SUI patients(n=78) and non-SUI patients(n=104).  International Consultation on Incontinence Questionnaire Short Form (ICI-Q-SF) and the UVJ-M of the patients were measured by perineal sonographic at 6-10, 24-28, 36-40 gestational weeks and 6-8weeks after delivery. Results  ① The incidence of SUI at 6-10, 24-28, 36-40 gestational weeks and 6-8 weeks after delivery was 3.85%, 13.19%, 25.82% and 2.20%, respectively, and there were signficant differences among them(P<0.05). ② The UVJM at 6-10, 24-28, 36-40 gestational weeks and 6-8weeks after delivery was (3.26±1.62)mm, (4.67±1.47)mm,  (6.65±1.12)mm [JP2]and (2.64±0.97)mm, [JP]respectively, and there were significant differences among them(P<0.05).  ③ There[JP][JP2] were a significant differences in UVJ-M between SUI patients and non-SUI patients at the same period of pregnancy (P<0.05).  Conclusions  The incidence of SUI and UVJ-M is elevated with the increase of gestational weeks. The UVJ-M of SUI patients is increased at the same period of pregnancy compared with that of non-SUI
 patients.
