Abstract:

To investigate the effect of fluctuation of glucose in diabetic macroangiopathy. MethodsThe THP1cell strain, was randomly divided into the control group, the high glucose group, the fluctuating glucose concentration group and the osmotic pressure control group. Cells were incubated in a sixbore board, the culture fluid was changed every 12?h and the clean supernatant liquid was collected. The levels of IL6 were detected by euzymelinked immunosorbent assay after 72?h. ResultThe level of IL6 in the high glucose group was significantly higher than that in the low glucose group(P=0.000).　The level of IL6 of the fluctuating glucose group was higher than that of the high glucose group(P=0.000). The concentration of IL6 of the osmotic pressure control group was between the high glucose group and the fluctuating glucose group. ConclusionFluctuation of glucose can promote monocytes secreting more IL6 and produces a greater cellular toxicity than simple high glucose does.
