Qualitative analysis on factors influencing popularization of  the appropriate health technology in rural areas

Abstract:

To analyze the influencing factors of popularizing appropriate health technology (AHT) in rural areas. MethodsData were collected through qualitative research methods, such as structured questionnaire survey, focus group discussion and indepth interview. ResultsProject organization and management, AHT holders, AHT itself, health service providers and demanders would influence the AHT popularization. ConclusionThe AHT work should be strengthened by 6 steps, including development, assessment, transfer, training, service delivery and receiving.
