Abstract: To investigate the clinical effect of kidneybenefiting and conceptionaiding granules on infertility due to ovulatory dysfunction. Methods60 patients were randomly divided into two groups: the treatment group treated with kidneybenefiting and conceptionaiding granules and the control group treated with clomiphene citrate. They were examined by radioimmunoassay for female hormones such as follicle stimulating hormone (FSH), Luteinizing Hormone (LH), Estradiol (E2), prolactin (PRL), testosterone(T), and Progesteron (P), and examined by B ultrasound to monitor the development of follicles and the endometrium before and after treatment. Results ① The pregnancy rate of the control group was 56.7%, while that of the treatment group was 33.3%(P<0.05). ② The size of follicles and the depth of the endometrium were significantly improved after treatment in the treatment group, which was significantly different from the control group(P<0.05). ③ The FSH, LH, E2, and P levels significantly increased and the PRL level decreased in both groups, which was not significantly different between the two groups(P>0.05). Conclusion① Kidneybenefiting and conceptionaiding granules are effective in the treatment of infertility due to ovulatory dysfunction and can significantly improve the pregnancy rate. ② Decoction regulates the HypothalamusPituitaryOvaryUterine Axis and promotes follicular development and endomembrane thickening.
