Abstract

Abstract: To investigate the role of valproic acid on the expression of Ecadherin in ovarian cancer cell line SKOV3 cells in vitro.Methods: Cultured SKOV3 cells was treated by VPA at concentration of 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5?mmol/L for 24, 48, and 72 hours, respectively.　The morphological changes of SKOV3 cells treated by VPA was observed through microscope and the proliferation was predicted by methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium (MTT). The expression of Ecadherin protein was detected by immunocytochemistry(IC) and flowcytometry.
