Emergency response to Ebolavirus disease: action in China

Abstract: Since Mar. 2014, the outbreak of Ebolavirus disease in West Africa has become the world's largest public health issue. Many countries provide their supports to help fighting against the disease, including the supplication of materials, technical personals, prevention technology and measures, and so on. The Chinese government pays much attention to the Ebola epidemic prevention and control, including carefully organizing Ebola prevention in China and actively providing aid to West Africa countries at the same time. However, there are still many weaknesses in urgent need of improvement and perfection. As long as Ebolavirus disease in West Africa is not well controlled, the risk of importing Ebola into China will exist all the time. Thus, the prevention and control situation is still serious in China.
