Abstract: Objective To explore the epidemiology, pathogenesis, clinical manifestation, imaging selection, pathological characteristics and treatment of small intestinal neuroendocrine tumors(SI-NETs), and to analyze the biological behavior and prognosis. Methods The clinicopathological data of 2 cases of SI-NETs were reviewed. Results The pathogenesis of SI-NETs remained unclear, mainly due to genetic factors. The malignant degree of SI-NETs was low, and there was no early specific clinical manifestation. The onset of the disease was late, and patients generally had poor prognosis. Conclusion Further study of the molecular mechanism and prognostic biomarkers of SI-NETs can provide information for the choice of optimal treatment strategy, and is of great significance for the early diagnosis, treatment and prognosis.
