Abstract: Vulval cancer is one of the malignancies of female genital tract which is characterized by lymphatic metastasis. Inguinal lymphadenectomy is an important treatment for vulval cancer. Traditional open inguinal lymph node dissection may cause serious decline of patients’ quality of life as it is traumatic and causes many complications. In recent years, laparoendoscopic single-site surgery(LESS)is widely used in gynecology. This paper reviews the anatomy, transformation and application of LESS in inguinal lymphadenectomy for vulva cancer.

Key words: Vulvar cancer, Inguinal lymphadenectomy, Laparoendoscopic single-site surgery
