Ximingting tablets in the treatment of women with climacteric syndrome

Abstract:

Objective〓〖WTBZ〗To observe the efficacy and safety of Ximingting tablets in the treatment of women with climacteric syndrome. 〖WTHZ〗Methods〓〖WTBZ〗This was a randomized, double-blind and controlled trial. Sixty patients with climacteric symptoms wererandomly assigned into two parallel groups: the investigated group and the Beimeili-controlled group. The climacteric symptoms, such as flushes, sweating, and irritation were studied before and after treatment. Changes of blood routine, urine routine, liver and kidney function and hormones(E2, FSH) were also assessed. 〖WTHZ〗Result〓〖WTBZ〗After treatment, hot flushes, sweating and vertigo in the two groups showed no significant differences(P>0.05), however, irritation and insomnia, depression, weakness, heart-throb in the investigated group were superiorto those in the Beimeili-controlled group(P<0.05), while arthralgia, headache and formication in the investigated group were inferior to those in the Beimeili-controlled group(P<0.05). Blood routine, urine routine, liver and kidney function and hormones(E2, FSH) in the two groups had no significant differences(P>0.05). 〖WTHZ〗Conclusion〓〖WTBZ〗Ximingting tablets are efficacious and safe for the treatment of women with climacteric syndrome.
