Abstract: To observe the efficacy of Vitapex paste for apexification. MethodsVitapex paste was used in the apexification of 62 teeth. All the patients′ treatment processes were written down in details to evaluate the efficacy of Vitapex paste and the effect of various grades of root development, periodontal bone loss and different age groups. ResultsThe overall success rate was 95.2%. There was no statistical difference among various grades of root development, periodontal bone loss, and different age groups (P<0.05). ConclusionThe efficacy of Vitapex paste for apexification of various teeth is significant.
