Abstract: To explore the differences of keratometry and antesior chamber depth (ACD) determined by Pentacam and IOLMaster and to evaluate the agreement of the two instruments. Methods169 left eyes of 169 subjects aged (20.80±1.29) with spherical Equivalent-(-3.44±2.04)D were determined keratometry and ACD on both eyes with Pentacam and IOLMaster. Paired t test was used to analyze the difference of mean keratometry (K) [K=(K1+K2)/2] and ACD between the two methods, and the BlandAltman method was used to evaluate the agreement of the two methods. ResultsThe mean K value was(43.35±1.49)D for Pentacam and (43.84±1.54)D for IOLMaster (P<0.01), and the ACD value was(3.65±0.21)mm for Pentacam and(3.70±0.22)mm for IOLMaster(P<0.01). The BlandAltmann showed that the two modalities had incomparable results for K values and comparable results for ACD. ConclusionPentacam and IOLMaster cannot be interchanged for keratometry, but can be interchanged for ACD.
