Abstract: To explore the safety and efficacy of human albumin microspheres, injectable suspension octfluoropropane formulation for left ventricular endocardial border delineation(LVEBD). MethodsFortyfive patients with suboptimal echocardiography were enrolled in this study. Each patient received 0.01ml/kg human albumin microspheres, injectable suspension octfluoropropane formulation. Twelve segments in apical fourand twochamber views were scored for LVEBD. ResultsLVEBD was significantly improved in 96.9% segments. There were no significant changes of electrocardiogram, heart rates, blood pressure, respiratory, blood routine, urine routine, liver function and kidney function observed after treatments. ConclusionsAlbumin microspheres, injectable suspension octfluoropropane formulation is safe and valuable for LVEBD assessment.
