Tumescent technique in multi-position liposuction

Abstract: Objective: To study the clinical effect of tumescent technique in multi-position liposuction. Methods: Tumescent liposuction technique was used on 1200 different sites of 500 cases. The pre- and post-operative treatment, the tumescent liquid amount, the usage of microcannula in the superficial fat layer, the lidocaine dosage, instruments and operation methods, and the maintenance of body fluid equilibrium were all well controlled. Results: There was good efficiency such as fewer complications, obviously shrinking skins and smooth operation areas. Conclusion: Tumescent technique can meet the need of multi-position and large-volume liposuction. It is a safe and effective body sculpture technique.
