Abstract: Objective To discuss the feasibility of laryngeal mask airway (LMA) in combined spinal and epidural anesthesia (CSEA) in gynecological laparoscopic surgery. MethodsThirty-six patients were randomly divided into the laryngeal mask airway in combination with spinal and epidural anesthesia group(groupⅠ), the general anesthesia group(groupⅡ)and the combined spinal and epidural anesthesia group(group Ⅲ). Hemodynamic variables of BP and HR were determined in the anesthesia, and also the anesthesia effects and side effects were determined. ResultsIn group Ⅱthe amount of anesthesia was larger, the time of awareness was significantly longer, and the degree of awareness was worse than in group Ⅰand Ⅲ. Hemodynamic variables of BP and HR were significantly different after anesthesia or pneumpperitoneum from those before anesthesia in group Ⅱ (P<0.05 or P<0.01), and they were also significantly different from those after pneumpperitoneum in group Ⅱ(P<0.01). Side effects were the lowest in group Ⅰ. Conclusion Laryngeal mask airway in combination with spinal and epidural anesthesia in gynecological laparoscopic surgery is beneficial for hemodynamics and safe.
