Application of three dimensional dynamic contrastenhanced MRA in abdomen and lower extremity arteries with 3.0T MR

Abstract: To evaluate the three dimensional dynamic contrast enhanced MRA (3D DCEMRA) in demonstrating abdomen to lower extremity arteries with 3.0T MR. Methods: A total of 30 patients were detected by 3D DCEMRA with body coil and movebed technique using 3.0T MR of GE company, and they were injected gadolinium contrast medium through intravenous bolus with the Spectris MR injector of MEDRAD. All the primary graphs were analyzed the MIP and REFORMAT reconstruction by ADW4.2 software. Results: All the 3D DCEMRA angiographies were clearly demonstrated, of them, 12 patients were found with arteriosclerosis obliterans, and the result was consistent with that of the operation. Conclusion: 3D DCEMRA is a new and efficient method in abdomen to lower extremity arteries imaging.
