Abstract: Choosing the appropriate clinical classification system can not only guide the standard clinical diagnosis and treatment of diseases, but also enhance the academic exchanges in the professional field. At present, there are more than 山 东 大 学 学 报 (医 学 版)57卷5期 -姜建元,等.退变性脊柱侧凸相关分型及选择策略 \=- ten clinical classifications of degenerative scoliosis. Familiar with Lenke-Silva graded surgical intervention strategy, Berjano classification, coronal imbalance classifications and the minimally invasive spinal deformity surgery algorithm(MISDEF classification), is of great significance to standardize the clinical diagnosis and treatment of degenerative scoliosis and to improve the clinical efficacy.

Key words: Adult spinal deformity, Degenerative scoliosis, Degenerative lumbar disease, Clinical classification
