Abstract: Objective To explore the relationship among negative emotions, social support, and psychological resilience in adolescent girls. Methods A total of 1 300 female students in a school of Luzhou City were selected with simple random sampling method and surveyed with the scales of Chinese Short Version Depression Anxiety and Stress Scale(DASS-C21), Connor Davidson Resilience Scale(CD-RISC), and Social Support Rating Scale(SSRS). Results The rates of mild and moderate depression were 20.5% and 5.4%. The rates of mild, moderate, and severe anxiety were 22.4%, 34.2%, and 6.1%, respectively. The rate of mild stress was 3.0%. The total score of negative emotions was negatively correlated with the total score of social support and psychological resilience(r=-0.20,r=-0.18, P<0.01). The total score of social support was positively correlated with psychological resilience(r=0.29, P<0.01). Support utilization negatively predicted anxiety, depression, and stress (OR=0.82, OR=0.83, OR=0.76, P<0.01). Self-strengthening negatively predicted anxiety, depression, and stress (OR=0.94, OR=0.93, OR=0.88, P<0.01). Psychological resilience played a partial intermediary role among subjective support, objective support, support utilization, and negative emotions, and the proportion of intermediary effects accouned for 28.09%, 24.19%, and 16.54% of the total effects. Conclusion Increasing social support and cultivating psychological resilience have a protective effect on adolescent girls emotional behaviors.
