Abstract: To investigate the relationship between the serum concentration of ACTH, TSH, FSH, LH, PRL and GH and the subarachnoid hemorrhage. Methods: The serum concentrations of ACTH, TSH, FSH, LH, PRL and GH at 13 days, 79 days, and 1315 days after seizures were detected in 35 patients. The VMCA was detected by TCD. Results: All the indexes at 13 days, 79 days after seizures significantly highered. The indexes at 79 days after seizures the most significantly highered. All the indexes of cerebral vasospasm (CVS) patients were markedly different from those of nonCVS patients. Conclusion: These findings suggest that there is a positive correlation between the serum concentration of ACTH, TSH, FSH, LH, PRL and GH and the symptom of CVS.
