Abstract: To investigate the relationship of Rack1 with embryo implantation and decidualization. Methods: Rat models of early pregnancy, pseudopregnancy, delayed implantation and artificial decidualization were established, and the expression of Rack1 in rat uterus was detected in each model by using immunohistochemistry method. Results: Rack1 protein was strongly expressed in the decidua on the day 6 to 9 of pregnancy. A similar expression pattern was also induced in subluminal epithelium stroma when the delayed implantation condition having been terminated, whereas there was no distinct signal in subluminal epithelium stroma under the delayed implantation condition or at the day 6 to 9 of pseudopregnancy. Furthermore, Rack1 protein was strongly induced in the decidua under artificial decidualization. Conclusion: Rack1 is closely related to embryo implantation and decidualization.
