Abstract:

Objective    To investigate the effect of the UbcH10(Ubiquitin-conjugating enzymes) expression on the proliferation of  colorectal cancer cells. Methods    The pcDNA3.1UbcH10 and pcDNA3.1 were transfected into LoVo cells. UbcH10 expression was determined by Western blot. Proliferation of LoVo cells was detected by CCK-8 kit. The effect of UbcH10 on the cell cycle of colorectal cancer cells was assessed by flow cytometry. Results    The UbcH10 expression in LoVo cells transfected with pcDNA3.1UbcH10 was more obviously increased than that in control cells. Over-expression of UbcH10 obviously promoted cell proliferation compared with the controls.   UbcH10 over-expression significantly decreased cell cycle distribution in the G2-M phase (P<0.05). Conclusion     UbcH10 can promote proliferation of colorectal cancer cells. The potential mechanism may depend on its regulation of the cell cycle.
