Abstract:

Objective      To harvest TGF-β1 model peptides from a phage display 12-mer peptide library. Methods      A phage display 12-mer peptide library was screened 4 times by the monoclonal anti-human TGF-β1. Monoclonal phages were randomly selected by ELISA. DNA extracted from phages with better binding activity was sequenced and analyzed. Results      After 4 times of screening, abundant specific phage model peptides were harvested. The results of ELISA showed that some phage model peptides had a fine binding activity. A total of 10 sequences related to promoting or inhibiting fibroblast cell proliferation were recognized. Conclusion      TGF-β1-related phage model peptides can be harvested from a phage display 12-mer peptide library, and some phage model peptides may inhibit keloid fibroblast proliferation.
