Kinetogenic effects of serum with semen raphani
on colon smooth muscle in rats

Abstract: To study the kinetogenic effects of serum with semen Raphani on colon smooth muscle strips of rats. MethodsSerum containing Chinese materia medica was made based on standard methods. The contractile response of the colonic smooth muscle strips to serum with Chinese materia medica (10％, 50％,100％concentration)and other medicines (control serum and 1×10-3mol/L ACh) were observed. ResultsSerum of Semen Raphani can have kinetogenic effects on transverse and longitudinal smooth muscle strips at different levels (P<0.05). ConclusionSerum with Semen Raphani can produce a notable kinetogenic effect on colonic smooth muscle strips in rats.
