Effects of lectin receptors of WGA,RCA and ECL on the development of cleft palate induced by excess retinoid acid in KM mice

摘要:

目的  探讨凝集素受体WGA、RCA和ECL在过量维甲酸(RA)致小鼠腭裂畸形中的作用。   方法  以生物素标记的凝集素受体WGA、RCA和ECL为探针,应用亲和细胞组织化学染色方法检测上述3种凝集素受体在RA致畸鼠胚(实验组)和相应对照组鼠胚腭板上皮及其间充质的分布状况和变化规律。  结果  3种凝集素受体在实验组不同发育阶段的小鼠胚胎腭突上皮内的表达量显著低于相应对照组。3种凝集素受体在小鼠胚胎腭板间充质中的表达量在实验组及对照组之间差异无统计学意义。  结论  WGA、RCA、ECL 3种凝集素受体在腭板上皮中表达量的下调与RA致昆明小鼠腭裂发生相关。

Abstract:

Objective To explore the effects of lectin receptors of WGA, RCA and ECL on cleft palate induced by excess retinoid acid in KM mice. Methods Both in malformed embryos induced by excess retinoid acid (the test group) and normal KM mice (the control group), expressions of lectin receptors of WGA, RCA and ECL in the epithelium of palatal shelves and the mesenchyma were determined by affinity histochemistry using biotin-marked corresponding lectins. Results Expression levels of the three lectin receptors in the epithelium of palatal shelves in the experimental group were significantly lower than in the control group. But they were not differently significant in the mesenchyma between the test and control groups. Conclusion Down-regulated expressions of lectin receptors of WGA, RCA and ECL in the epithelium of palatal shelves are closely related to the development of cleft palate induced by excess retinoid acid in KM mice.
