Abstract:

To evaluate the curative effect of MDC semiconductor laser apparatus in combination with computer IF for chronic hypertrophic pharyngitis.  Method150 cases of chronic hypertrophic pharyngitis were randomly divided into the general treatment group, the laser group and the control group.  Results  Symptom scores before and after treatment were statistically different in the general treatment group(P<0.01), and the effect rose on week two and peaked on weeks 4 to 8. However the symptom scores were not significantly different between the laser and control groups (P>0.05) and were significantly higher in the general treatment group than in the laser and control groups. ConclusionMDC semiconductor laser therapy in combination with computer IF achieves a curative effect on chronic hypertrophic pharyngitis.
